Larren was my first friend ever. She lived directly across from me in our little culd-e-sac and we spent many years turning that culd-e-sac into our own personal play land. I remember spending countless hours of my time was trying to convince my parents to let me switch from the private school I was going to at the time, so that I could attend the same school as Larren. When my pleading finally paid off I learned that Larren and her family were moving away. I remember thinking this was so incredibly unfair! Lucky for me we later found ourselves attending the same Jr. High. I came in as the new girl in the middle of the year and walked into English (maybe?) and saw a familiar face in a sea of strangers, my first ever friend, Larren! Our families have remained friends, however, weddings seem to have doubled as our reunions over the most recent years. Now that Larren and I are married (the babies of the family) we'll have to come up with a new reason to see each other. ;) Larren and Von both work as teachers and it just so happens that my sister in law had Von as a teacher last year She realized this when she saw their Save the Date on our fridge. Small world! I feel absolutely blessed to have been able to be part of Larren and Vons' wedding day in such a big way. We all had a good laugh when half way through the ceremony the Father was tipped off that he'd been mispronouncing the bride's name. Whoops!
